# What do students do in an NGSS classroom?

Three-dimensional learning is about more than just hands-on activities. Students need to be engaged with a real-world problem, collect evidence from various sources, evaluate claims, draw their own conclusions, and defend their thinking in visual models, discussion, and writing.
