Back to Basics with Amplify

Spend an hour with Amplify ELA experts and get a jumpstart on the new year! During this three-part series, we’ll walk you through the key things you need to know to get started or to freshen up your ELA skills.

These hour-long events are for everyone and will include plenty of opportunities for Q&A with our team of experts!

After each session, we’ll share an ELA checklist providing tips to help you implement Amplify ELA in your classroom—all related to what we cover in the session.

So whether this is your first or fourth year with Amplify, you’ll walk away having learned something new. Brush up on your Amplify ELA skills with us!

Can’t make all three? Don’t worry! Register and we’ll send you a recording and checklist for each session.

Session 1

Amplify ELA 101

Tuesday, September 14
6–7 p.m. ET

In this session we’ll walk through a lesson together. Vexxed by the Vocab App? Stumped by Solos? We’ll cover these and everything in between, as well as discuss pacing and different options for instruction based on your instructional time.

Session 2

Amplify ELA 201

Thursday, September 30
6–7 p.m. ET

With Amplify ELA, you're not just getting a core curriculum—you're getting a program chock-full of additional resources to support and supplement your instruction. In this session, we'll explore the rich features offered in the Grammar and Poetry in America units, learn what a Quest is, and go over how to utilize the digital Amplify Library in daily instruction.
Session 3

Amplify ELA 301

Tuesday, October 12
6–7 p.m. ET

Flex Days, Embedded Assessment Measures, and Reporting—in other words, how we measure student performance and the actions we take with the results. We’ve heard you, and we know this aspect can be confusing. This session will walk you through how to interpret the data to make the best choices for your students.
