📆 CL day 2023 is coming soon! Join us now in planning and later for all the fun.
Hey there!
Our fourth annual CL Day is only two months away, and that means it's time for us to start planning. This year, we’d love to bring as many voices into the process as possible (more on how you can be a part of that later), so we’re starting a little bit earlier. But first, a little bit about CL Day . . .
|
What (and when) is CL Day?
For the past few years, we’ve held a special event on the 150th day of each year. (150 = “CL” in roman numerals. Get it?) Festivities have ranged from community challenges, to sharing tips and tricks, to just-for-fun Desmos Classroom activities. We can’t take credit for the idea, though—Justin Brennan (@Math_Grinder) shared it with us.

Since it's not a leap year, this year’s CL Day falls on Tuesday, May 30th.
|
What have we done in the past?
On our first CL Day, we released a single activity—a make-your-own maze that utilized Challenge Creator.

What do we have planned for this year?
Not much! And that's where you come in. We’d love to hear what you’d like us to do for this year’s festivities. We still plan on releasing a few fun activities and sharing some tips and tricks that the CL team uses to create lessons in our curriculum, but we also want to make room for the things that y’all want to do.
