Natalie Wexler is an education writer and the author of The Knowledge Gap: The Hidden Cause of America’s Broken Education System—and How to Fix It. She is also the co-author of The Writing Revolution: A Guide to Advancing Thinking Through Writing in All Subjects and Grades, a senior contributor at Forbes.com, and she has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, and other publications.

In addition to teaching, Anne's passion is working with teachers, empowering them with the confidence that comes with knowing they can teach any child that walks through their door how to read.

Lacey Wright has worked in education since 2005 as an elementary teacher, reading teacher, and literacy coach in Southern Illinois and loves being able to help students, teachers, and parents work together to improve literacy for our students.
