Dr. Pam Kastner will explore the knowledge and instructional practices that form the building blocks of proficient reading—the foundational skills.
Nancy Hennessy will build connections to the skills and knowledge necessary for comprehending and constructing meaning as described in her book, The Reading Comprehension Blueprint: Helping Students Make Meaning from Text.
