FAQs

Who are the facilitators of the ILCP?

Sessions are facilitated by the professional learning leads from the team at UC Berkeley’s Lawrence Hall of Science who developed Amplify Science. The facilitators engage members in participant-centered discussions about Amplify Science pedagogy and implementation, instructional leadership strategies, and facilitating professional learning.

Why should I join this community?

The ILCP is built upon a successful model that has been bringing together a group of Amplify Science-focused educators for the last few years to exchange ideas around topics such as supporting literacy integration, pacing, engaging administrators, and removing barriers for elementary implementation. Members of the community value the immediately practical and inspiring ideas they glean from one another and the team at The Lawrence.
