Your district must confirm your third-party app settings for Amplify in the Google Admin Console to prevent issues with teachers and students accessing Amplify. If you're a teacher or student receiving the error "Access blocked: Your institution’s admin needs to review," please contact your school or district's tech support contact for help and provide them with this article.

Amplify is committed to maintaining (and growing) our collections of free lessons. Everything that is free will remain free. In 2024, we achieved a new milestone by releasing more than 500 lessons and activities, expanding our lesson collections to support K–12 educators. We remain dedicated to continually expanding our collection of free, high-quality content for teachers and students.
The following users have been migrated to the new experience:
- Educators with a free verified Desmos Classroom account who met at least one of the following criteria:
- logged in after January 2024 (18 months before the migration date of June 27, 2025)
- Have created at least one custom activity at any time
- All Desmos Math 6–A1 customers
- Student users who logged in after August 2024 (11 months before the migration date of June 27, 2025)
Users whose accounts are not migrated will have the option to easily create a new account in the future.
If your Amplify account email matches your Desmos Classroom email account, they were merged into one account. This means all of your custom activities and collections will still be available alongside Amplify programs your district has purchased. Users will also have access to dashboards created since December 27, 2023.
