Welcome educators!

Thank you for your interest in Boost Math®! We’re excited to support you in teaching math this year and beyond.

We listened to student and educator feedback, and we’re thrilled to announce enhancements to Boost Math’s navigation, assigning, streamlining the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), and more.

Of course, the content you’ve used and loved—Mini-Lessons, Personalized Learning, Centers, and more—will always be at the heart of Boost Math (and the entire Amplify Desmos Math suite). Our goal remains the same: to provide all students with the instructional support they need to achieve grade-level proficiency.

Boost Math

Here's some information about the updates available for the rest of this school year and for the 2026–27 school year.

💻 Browsing by instructional resources

We’ve improved planning for small-group instruction with a new collection of resources organized to reduce clicks and help you find exactly what you’re looking for faster. Resources are organized by both type (Boost Personalized Learning, Centers, etc.) and topic in the progression by grade level. This collection is live for you now!

🌟 MTSS Learning Pathways

To streamline your MTSS, we’ve developed learning pathways: a progression of activities that builds understanding of a key grade-level Topic. Students are grouped into the Intervention Pathway or the Practice Pathway based on mCLASS® Math benchmark data.

Each pathway:

  • Consists of both small-group and digital activities.
  • Can be quickly assigned by teachers, who then have visibility to monitor and adjust activities throughout a Topic as needed.
  • Builds on what students already know, as student responses trigger personalized scaffolds within each activity.

You can explore a digital walk-through of the experience here.

Are you an Amplify Desmos Math suite user? Pathways are completely aligned to each core unit.

🎯 Data-driven by mCLASS Math

Boost Math’s instructional groupings and learning pathways are  based on  mCLASS Math Benchmarks (Beginning of Year, Middle of Year, and End of Year), which gather domain performance data and give Student Thinking Reports for each Topic. Progress Monitoring assessments are also recommended throughout each Topic.

Frequently asked questions

  • Personalized Learning is an add-on to our core Amplify Desmos Math program. Personalized Learning is a great resource for extending Tier 1 differentiation as well as providing additional grade-level practice supported by a virtual tutor. This is a student-led experience that reinforces skills through this digital practice and is designed to support independent learning to build fluency.

  • Boost Math is a tiered intervention and practice solution that supports MTSS implementation, connecting assessment data to both teacher-led instruction and student practice. Boost Math is what you use when you need a full system where data drives both intervention and practice and teachers are supported in delivering targeted intervention. It includes data-driven grouping and recommendations, targeted learning pathways (Intervention and Practice), and a mix of personalized learning, teacher-led small groups (in Intervention Pathway), and student-led practice.

Your current Boost Personalized Learning will continue as Personalized Learning, or you can upgrade to Boost Math, our new solution that connects assessment data to targeted  intervention and instruction. To access the updated experience for 2026-27, connect with your Amplify representative.

  • Boost Math K–5 customers will have access to learning pathways for every topic across grades K–5 starting this summer.

  • Districts participating in the Boost Math 6–8 Initial Release will have complete Intervention and Practice Pathways for one key topic per grade—Ratios in Grade 6, Proportional Relationships in Grade 7, and Linear Relationships in Grade 8. Each pathway includes a full set of instructional resources, such as personalized learning activities, Mini-Lessons, and Fluency Practice, allowing teachers to use the system as designed within MTSS blocks. In addition, districts will have access to sample personalized learning activities for other early-year topics in Amplify Desmos Math, including Area (Grade 6), Scaled Copies (Grade 7), and Rigid Transformations (Grade 8).

  • Districts participating in the Personalized Learning add-on to Amplify Desmos Math for grades 6–8 will have a full set of personalized learning activities for one unit per grade—Grade 6 Unit 2, Grade 7 Unit 2, and Grade 8 Unit 3—along with sample activities from Unit 1 in each grade. These activities are aligned to core instruction and designed to reinforce the skills students are learning in class.

During the Initial Release year, educators can use Boost Math 6–8 or the Personalized Learning activities as part of instruction, supporting student learning, establishing routines, and building confidence, while we continue to expand topic coverage. Districts will have access to a fully functional program while additional content continues to be added over time.
