### Make the Most of Mid-Year Data: Why December Is a Smart Time to Start a Screener

**November 10, 2026, at 1 p.m. ET**

Don’t wait until next year to see what students need. Join Emily Lutrick, director of assessment and intervention adoption strategy at Amplify, to explore how middle-of-year data can help districts identify students who need additional support, while there is still time to adjust instruction, intervention, and progress monitoring during the current school year. We’ll look at why it can be smart to focus on adopting the **mCLASS® DIBELS® 8th Edition** assessment system when teams have more capacity for thoughtful implementation than they often do at the start of a new school year. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how a strategic midyear move can inform today’s decisions while giving leaders a stronger foundation for summer planning and the next school year.

mCLASS DIBELS 8th Edition Grades 6–8

### Beyond “Reading to Learn”: Why Decoding Still Matters in Grades 6–8

**November 12, 2026, at 1 p.m. ET**

The idea that students learn to read in the early grades and then simply “read to learn” can leave important middle school needs out of view. Join Bella Hylen, literacy product specialist at Amplify, to explore why decoding still matters in grades 6–8 and how educators can respond when students have difficulty accessing grade-level text.

You’ll also see how mCLASS 6–8 can help educators ask better MTSS questions and identify meaningful next steps for students and teachers.
