Sessions

The State of Math Assessments: Where We Are and Where We Need to Go

Sept. 21 | 4 p.m. ET

In this session, we’ll set up the week by looking at what math assessments are like today, as well as what’s needed to support students and teachers and move every student toward success in math class and beyond. Assessments should not be scary tasks that create anxiety and confusion, but rather ways to uncover student thinking and create actionable plans to move all learners forward.

Assessment Essentials: Using Data to Measure Student Understanding

Sept. 22 | 4 p.m. ET

In this webinar, we’ll examine the types of data available through observational and asset-based literacy and math assessments, and the potential impact of that data in the K–8 classroom. We’ll also explore how real-time data and progress monitoring can drive differentiation and targeted instructional recommendations to best support intervention, remediation, and enrichment.

Thinking in Steps: Making Math Work for Students With Executive Function Challenges

Sept. 23 | 2 p.m. ET

In this session, we’ll explore how executive function challenges can quietly block student success, even when conceptual understanding is strong, and help teachers recognize where math classrooms unintentionally overload students’ working memory, organization abilities, and task initiation. Participants will learn targeted intervention strategies, such as how to design lessons that externalize steps, reduce decision fatigue, and support planning without removing rigor. The focus is on making thinking visible: a practical intervention that lets students focus their energy on reasoning, rather than on just surviving through lessons.

Strengthening and Supporting Your MTSS Framework: From Leaders to Caregivers

Sept. 23 | 4 p.m. ET

In this webinar, we’ll take a look at some ways you can accelerate student achievement by extending the reach of what happens in the classroom. We’ll explore some ways to reduce the load on your school leaders and teachers, as well as bring caregivers into the learning process. We’ll also discuss how you can implement these ideas to best support every student.

The Power of mCLASS: Assessments for Math and Literacy

Sept. 24 | 4 p.m. ET

Get an inside look at mCLASS® Math and mCLASS® DIBELS® 8th Edition! We’ll take a look at how both programs use a comprehensive data story to open a window into student thinking. We’ll also explore predictive measures and common behaviors that support screening for risks like dyscalculia and dyslexia, as well as ways to help all students get back on track.
