Women’s History Month is here! We encourage you to use this Women’s History Month poster and virtual background as you celebrate the women highlighted in the Amplify curriculum:
- Grade 6: Celebrate the work of renowned author Virgina Hamilton with MC Higgins, The Great.
- Grade 7: Read the Summer of the Mariposas by author Guadalupe Garcia McCall and learn about her inspirations behind writing this story.
- Grade 8: Highlight in the Science & Science Fiction unit two trailblazing women who charted new terrains in literature and computer science: Mary Shelley and Ada Lovelace.
