Women’s History Month is here! We encourage you to use this Women’s History Month poster and virtual background as you celebrate the women highlighted in the Amplify curriculum: 

 

  • Grade 6: Celebrate the work of renowned author Virgina Hamilton with MC Higgins, The Great.
  • Grade 7: Read the Summer of the Mariposas by author Guadalupe Garcia McCall and learn about her inspirations behind writing this story.
  • Grade 8: Highlight in the Science & Science Fiction unit two trailblazing women who charted new terrains in literature and computer science: Mary Shelley and Ada Lovelace.

Introducing Assign in Amplify 

Click the Assign button in the Amplify platform to distribute individual activities or entire lessons to your classes with optional due dates. Students can easily navigate to a stream of assigned activities in My Work, and you can track late submissions in Classwork.

Amplify Close Reading: Summer School Edition

Amplify Close Reading can fit flexibly into any summer school model. Students can work with Amplify Close Reading in small groups, during independent work or computer lab time, or at home.
