We’re here to support and enhance your teaching experience, today and wherever this school year takes us!  Updated features Coming soon: The Assign in Google Classroom button will be available on the lesson brief for all middle school units. Assigning this Amplify link can serve as a helpful shortcut to redirect students to the lesson brief rather than a specific activity in the lesson.    A new "Copy Writing" button is now available for writing activities in Classwork. This makes it easier to copy, share, and highlight student responses to the Spotlight app.  Spotlight Christine Wallace, North Lakeland School District, WI   Christine noticed her students were struggling to understand slowing down a moment, so she had them complete a “PB&J challenge” to encourage them to think about each particular step. This experiment was a success and students who “can’t think of anything to write” on a normal day were engaged. She said, “This is the most creative I’ve ever seen them be! And they are so into writing!”   What are you doing to connect with your students?  Calendar K-8 Virtual Symposium Literacy in a Changing World: Moving Forward Together Thursday, October 15 12 noon-5:30 p.m. ET Free virtual literacy symposium What strategies do we need as our remote and hybrid teaching models evolve?
