Each month we gather the latest information regarding Amplify ELA for you and your students. We’re here to support and enhance your teaching experience, today and wherever this school year takes us! |
Updated features
- Coming soon: The Assign in Google Classroom button will be available on the lesson brief for all middle school units. Assigning this Amplify link can serve as a helpful shortcut to redirect students to the lesson brief rather than a specific activity in the lesson.
- A new "Copy Writing" button is now available for writing activities in Classwork. This makes it easier to copy, share, and highlight student responses to the Spotlight app.

Christine Wallace, North Lakeland School District, WI
Christine noticed her students were struggling to understand slowing down a moment, so she had them complete a “PB&J challenge” to encourage them to think about each particular step. This experiment was a success and students who “can’t think of anything to write” on a normal day were engaged. She said, “This is the most creative I’ve ever seen them be! And they are so into writing!”

What strategies do we need as our remote and hybrid teaching models evolve? How can we deliver both literacy and equity in this shifting terrain? Back by popular demand, our free Virtual Literacy Symposium will help educators face the only thing that’s certain about the educational landscape today: uncertainty.
