The first day of school brings with it a lot of anticipation and information. Our goal is to guide you and your students by providing information that helps support your classroom during the first few days, weeks, and even months of the year. Read on to learn about some of the resources and webinars that Amplify has created just for you! |
Back-to-school night for families
Devices, schedules, logins, links … we know how hard it may be this year to communicate all the things to your families. And we know (from experience!) that caregivers are feeling uncertain at best: Are we doing this right? Are we supporting our children in the best way possible? To help everyone, we’re hosting a back-to-school webinar for families and caregivers. Please share this flyer with families and invite them to join us for an overview of the program their student is using at home on Monday, September 21, 7-7:30 p.m. ET/4-4:30 p.m. PT.

Free research-backed SEL activities
For grades K-3, Amplify Reading focuses on four areas of social and emotional learning—self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship skills. For more activities and discussion guides to connect your students’ Amplify Reading experiences with key SEL topics, check out these resources. Resources for grades 4-5 coming soon!
For middle school students, we encourage you to use the Starting Points resource at the beginning of the school year to learn more about them as individuals and get a quick sense of any skill gaps or social-emotional challenges. The activity centers on a writing exercise that allows your students to freely express their values and move toward a positive mindset through the year. Get started now. |
