We hope you found rest and refreshment this summer and feel excited about the upcoming year. Back-to-school season is a busy time, and you probably have a lot on your mind.

As your partner in education, we want you to know that Amplify is here to help. For example, Amplify Reading can help you and your students stay connected in the event of a socially-distanced classroom or remote scenario, while ensuring students receive the critical literacy skills instruction and practice they need.

You’ll find our remote and hybrid resources available for you at start.amplify.com—simply select your state and choose the Amplify Reading page.

There, you’ll also find resources to help you access and use the platform, details on curriculum materials, student and caregiver support, answers to frequently asked questions, and more.

We know your hands and schedule are full this time of year, so we hope this information will be valuable to you in the weeks and months ahead. Watch for lots more to come on start.amplify.com.

And if you're looking for a fun and interactive way to welcome your students back to school in style, just download this fun card for your students to fill out as they return for the school year!

Tips for teachers

Read All About It

Read All About It

Amplify Reading is designed to automatically monitor the spelling patterns, word features (prefixes and suffixes), and phonics rules a student has recently learned. The program then draws from a large bank of short, decodable texts in this game—Read All About It—to deliver varied and multiple opportunities over time to decode at precisely the student’s level and move them toward fluency. Check out the catalog of games and the skills they cover.

Somerset Academy Sky Pointe, NV

“As a former reading teacher turned K–5 reading coach, Cathy shares her passion for reading with all students and staff at our school. She goes above and beyond every day, even dressing as the school mascot to encourage students and their reading at our school. During the pandemic, while students were learning remotely, she made sure that every student that needed reading intervention had access to services. She makes certain all teachers and staff have the tools and training to provide top-notch reading intervention services and encourages all students to do their best reading.”
