With back-to-school season fast approaching, we’re working to make your job a little simpler and to help you equip your students to get the most from Amplify mCLASS®. We’ve developed a new online resource that we hope will do just that—all year long.

Introducing start.amplify.com! 

Here you’ll find an introduction to all the Amplify programs, resources to help you access and use the platform, details on training opportunities and assessment materials, answers to frequently asked questions, and more.

Your days are busy, and implementing new or updated assessment programs in the classroom can sometimes feel overwhelming. start.amplify.com will walk you through what you need to get started with Amplify mCLASS. You’ll also find the link to our Caregiver Hub to provide to your students' caregivers. It will help them to engage and support their learners from home.

Don’t miss the start.amplify.com “What’s new!” section for new and enhanced Amplify mCLASS features for this year. When you provide us feedback, we’re listening, and this year’s program is better than ever!

What’s new for mCLASS

As you plan for back to school, we want to get you up to speed on the new and updated features for mCLASS. Check out this short clip and learn more about these exciting updates.

Attention grade 5 teachers using DIBELS 8th Edition

The grade 5 Beginning of Year (BOY) Benchmark passage for Oral Reading Fluency (ORF) entitled “Breathing” has been updated. The first sentence has been removed from the passage. Before assessing your fifth grade students, please be sure you are using the latest version, which will be available for download later this summer from the University of Oregon. You can also find a link to the correct passage when you click the Assess icon for BOY ORF from the mCLASS Dashboard. Alternatively, we ask you to simply cover the first sentence of the original passage before presenting it to students.

Online Assessment Management improvements

Introducing the simplified interface for our Online Assessment Management tool! Check out the new dashboard to help you track the status of online assessments, and see if students are in progress, stuck, not started, or finished with their assessment. All the information you need to get students set up with online assessments is now conveniently featured in the same location.

Additional DIBELS 8 Maze progress monitoring forms

Educators can now monitor their students’ progress throughout the year with less risk of repeating forms. An additional four forms per grade (2–6) have been added, bringing the total number for each grade level to ten. The new content will be automatically available to educators using mCLASS DIBELS 8th Edition and to their students using Maze Online.

Listening Comprehension study opportunity
