π¬ Advice and answers

How do I implement Pausing Point days in my classroom?
If you find yourself with additional time as you complete upcoming units, we encourage you to take advantage of the Pausing Points resources. The Teacher Guides provide directions for a number of resources you can use during Pausing Point days, including the Decoding and Encoding Remediation Guide (Grades 4 and 5), the Intervention Toolkit, and the Fluency Packet. Pausing Point days are also a great opportunity for you to work in small groups with your students.

|
How do I use the Vocab App?
The Vocab App offers students in Grades 3β5 additional opportunities for independent practice with selected Tier 2 (academic vocabulary) words from each unit in the Amplify CKLA program. You can have students use the Vocab App during Pausing Points, free time, enrichment time, or other available times throughout the instructional day. You and your students can access the Vocab App through the Amplify Hub. (Check out the User Guide for more information!)

βββMrs. Demby is a dedicated educator who treats educating children with urgency. She delivers instruction driven by data results and based on the individual needs of her students. She goes above and beyond to ensure that she offers maximum support to her class through explicit and systematic instruction. She offers support not only to her students, but her colleagues as well. I wish all teachers could truly invest in the total child as Mrs. Demby does. Her desire to help students doesnβt stop at the end of the day or the sound of the schoolβs bell.ββ
