The 2026 Activity Builder Spotlight Contest is now open!
It's time to celebrate the incredible activities you've built in Amplify Classroom. Whether it's a tried-and-true favorite or an idea you've been sitting on and need a reason to create, we're excited to highlight your ingenuity!
Here's how it works:
-
All Amplify Classroom users 18+ are invited to submit their favorite custom activity by March 5, 2026.
-
We'll select 10 finalists in each category (Beginner and Pro), then open it up to the community to vote on the winners.
-
Winners will be announced on March 26, 2026, and will receive a $50 Amazon gift card and a permanent home in our Featured Collection in Amplify Classroom.

Contest criteria
—
Your submissions can be lessons, activities, games, or anything else you can create in Activity Builder! It doesn’t need to be math, either!
We’ll be asking our reviewers and the community to rate submissions based on the following criteria:
Does your activity elicit student thinking through discourse, writing, drawing, or any other interaction?
Does your activity effectively teach a content area with pedagogical best practices? (Again, it doesn’t need to be math!)
Does your activity approach a topic or learning objective in a creative or unique way?
Is your activity accessible and approachable for all students and teachers?
Contest guidelines
See here for terms and conditions.
- Please don’t use music, video footage, artwork, or photography that’s owned by someone else, unless you have obtained their permission.
- While you’re allowed to copy and edit Starter Screens and templates as a starting point, make sure you’re letting your creativity shine, per the criteria above.
- For the community-selected activities, our graphing specialists might make tweaks to your activities. We won’t meaningfully change your submission; we’ll just make sure it’s bug-free and optimized.
- Before submitting, please include an activity description and ensure your submission is set to public so we can review and assess your work. See below for reference.
Activity description
Describe the activity and learning goals in 1–2 sentences. This helps teachers and students quickly grasp the lesson objectives.
Set activities to public
To make your activity public, hit the three ellipsis in the top right corner, select "edit your activity", click the activity title in the top left corner, select "Anyone with the link can view," and click Save.
