Our teachers have implemented the Amplify Reading program into their ELA curriculum by using it as a virtual center rotation for when they are meeting with their small groups for 30 minutes per day. Connectives are special words that tie clauses, sentences, and ideas together. They signal that two ideas are related and give insight into exactly how. Amplify Reading students engage in this practice along their personalized learning journey, and you can reinforce this practice in your own classroom!
