What is autoscoring?
Digitally submitted student writing is autoscored using the Automated Writing Evaluation (AWE). You can view student work in the Classwork app as well as AWE scores for Focus, Conventions, and Use of Evidence. Conventional errors are highlighted in the passage by activating the details toggle. These scores can be adjusted or overridden at your discretion, and we encourage you to leave comments and feedback when you input a score or grade for students to review!

“ I have observed Ms. Kim teaching her 8th-grade students as part of my residency. She utilizes Amplify in an amazing way. She is amazing at working with her ELA students. She has also helped me to learn to navigate the program, offered me assistance, and guided me. Ms. Kim is awesome! ”
