Advice and answers

TEACHER TIP

Insight from an Amplify Ambassador

We all love teacher tips! Jason Shelangouski is an Amplify Ambassador and grade 8 ELA teacher. He had the following advice about Amplify ELA: “To save time in the lesson, I sometimes will preview the questions to see which ones they can answer while listening, which ones we can skip, and which ones we need to discuss. That way, they get the most out of the lesson without having to necessarily answer every single thing, every single time.”

Let's connect

Staci, a member of our Amplify ELA Facebook group, recently shared how her school goes above and beyond for the grade 6 unit The Titanic Collection to get the kids talking: “We will add portholes which will be questions and answers of research the kids have done … We love this unit, and the kids do, too!”
