Want to hear from a fellow educator? Elizabeth Moritz is an Amplify Ambassador and principal. When asked to identify a book about teaching that she’s thankful to have read and explain how it inspired her to be better at what she does, she shared: “FOCUS by Schmoker. It makes complete sense when looking at how to keep the main thing the main thing. We have complicated our profession, this should be a career that can be done well in the time we are given. FOCUS helped me to figure out how to do that as a teacher and administrator.”
