Here at Amplify, we’re thankful for the amazing work you do each day to shape the minds and futures of so many students! We’ve created two thankfulness-themed downloadable worksheets for you to use with your students this month: a fill-in acrostic poem for younger students and a writing exercise for older students. Both are available in English and Spanish!

Don’t forget that today, Nov. 1, is the first day of Native American Heritage Month. Although we recognize the culture and heritage of Native Americans year round, we place a special emphasis on their role in American history in November. We hope you’re able to incorporate a few of their many contributions into your classrooms this month!

Reviewing student growth and risk

Now that we’re a few months into the 2022–23 school year, it’s a great time to check on your students’ growth! From the Insights section of your Teacher Dashboard, you can see which of your students are in each of our growth and risk categories. Click on any student’s name to open the Student Detail View, which provides additional details about that specific student. Once you’ve reviewed your class, you can take a look at our recommendations for instruction based on risk categories.

As a reminder, Amplify Reading’s growth and risk data reflects student performance on our monthly assessment, Curioso Skill Scan, and not their overall performance and progress in our skill games.
