Insight from an Amplify Ambassador

We all love teacher tips! Renee Wilcox is an Amplify Ambassador and grade 8 instructional coach. She shared the following advice about Amplify Science: “I like to hang some of the work that students complete, or pieces of hands-on activities, on our bulletin board next to the key concepts that they go with as a visual reminder of what we did when we learned them.”

Let's connect

Cyndi, a member of our Amplify Science Facebook group, recently shared a creative moment from her classroom following the Modeling Matter unit. After asking her class, “What do you think is happening when the sugar mixes with the water,” a student modeled little “Pac-Man” water molecules eating up the sugar molecules to demonstrate conceptual thinking in action.
