We are hard at work collecting photos of CKLA culminating activities, end-of-unit celebrations, and Knowledge domain hands-on projects to create a resource that will inspire current and future CKLA educators with ideas to make their teaching even more engaging. What should I do during Pausing Point days?
If you find yourself with additional time as you complete upcoming units, we encourage you to take advantage of the Pausing Points resources. The Teacher Guide provides directions for a number of resources to use for Pausing Point days, including:
- The Decoding and Encoding Remediation Guide (Grades 4 and 5).
- The Intervention Toolkit.
- The Fluency Packet.
You can also introduce trade books and Knowledge Builder videos and create topic-based libraries to enrich the program!
