💬 Advice and answers

Bringing poetry into your Amplify ELA classroom
Reading poetry is a great way to promote creative thinking in your classroom and fortify your students’ literacy skills. This National Poetry Month, watch the recording of our webinar with poet Richard Blanco to learn practical guidance on how to get your learners excited about poetry.

Optional Amplify ELA Interim Assessments
We encourage teachers to administer the second reading and writing interim assessments four to eight weeks before any end-of-year state or national assessments. Interim Assessments can be found through the Programs & Apps menu, and can be delivered either on paper or through the third-party provider, Illuminate.
For those classes preparing for state testing, check out the Skills Modules on the Professional Learning Site for review material of key skills related to writing, text analysis, and vocabulary.
