💬 Advice and answers

How can I prepare for upcoming benchmark assessments?

As you prepare for upcoming benchmark assessments, here are some reminders to help you stay on track:

  • Ask your administrator for middle-of-year (MOY) benchmark window dates.
  • Complete assessments for all students on your roster within the given window.
  • Visit the Instruction tab within the platform to view groups that students are currently placed in based on their MOY benchmark results, as groupings may have changed to reflect student growth.
  • Use benchmark data to determine next steps for progress monitoring.

For more information on how to begin your benchmark assessments, visit our collection of help articles.

How can I access resources in the PD Library?

You’ll find helpful resources in the PD Library to ensure your mCLASS® implementation runs smoothly. The PD Library can be accessed through the Programs & Apps menu (windowpane image) in the top navigation bar when logged into mCLASS.

Elizabeth Sillies

District Literacy Coach and Title 1 Supervisor, Three Rivers Local School District, Ohio

This month we asked one of our amazing Amplify Ambassadors, Elizabeth Sillies, to share some helpful implementation advice for mCLASS. She shared the following strategy:

“I use the Groups component of DIBELS® to create groups for each of my intervention specialists’ caseloads, students served through our Title I Tutors, [and] my speech pathologists’ clients. This allows a ‘one-stop shop’ for them to access data and conduct assessments.”

We want to hear from you!
