Here's to another year of remarkable achievements and memorable moments!

We partnered with Amplify Ambassador Allie Appel to create these goal-setting bookmarks! Allie works with her students to set goals, then checks in on their progress and places a sticker or star in the box below a goal once they’ve completed it. Once one goal is met, the students set another!

💬 Advice and answers

How can I prepare students for the Boost Reading Benchmark Assessment?

Beginning Jan. 15, your students will see the Boost Reading Benchmark Assessment when they log in (if your school does not use mCLASS®). Review guidance on how to best support your students with this assessment—such as ensuring they’re prepared to read out loud and have access to headphones.

Please note that if your school has purchased mCLASS, students will be re-placed into Boost Reading with their updated mCLASS assessment score or the Automatic Placement Tool.

How can I confirm that students successfully completed the MOY Boost Reading Benchmark Assessment?

Head to the Benchmark pane on your Insights page for a summary of students' performance on the MOY Boost Reading Benchmark Assessment. For any students with Invalidated or Skipped scores, you can select the Reset Benchmark button to re-administer the assessment for them the next time they log on!

What assessment will my students encounter this time of year in Boost Lectura?

If there is no mCLASS Lectura student data available, Boost Lectura students will take the Boost Lectura Automatic Placement Tool for their MOY re-placement beginning Jan. 15. As part of the assessment, students complete a series of Phonological Awareness, Letter-Sound Correspondence, Syllable Decoding, and Word-Decoding tasks.

Note: If your students use both Boost Reading and Boost Lectura, they will be re-placed into each program separately.
