Here at Amplify, we’re thankful for the amazing work you do each day to shape the minds and futures of so many students! We’ve created two thankfulness-themed downloadable worksheets for you to use with your students this month: a fill-in acrostic poem for younger students and a writing exercise for older students. Both are available in English and Spanish!

Don’t forget that today, Nov. 1, is the first day of Native American Heritage Month. Although we recognize the culture and heritage of Native Americans year round, we place a special emphasis on their role in American history in November. We hope you’re able to incorporate a few of their many contributions into your classrooms this month!

Class Summary Progress Monitoring Report

Are you wondering how your students are responding to instruction as you settle into the school year? In mCLASS®, you can view the Class Summary Progress Monitoring Report to see how students in the class are responding to instruction by viewing trends in their progress monitoring data. You can quickly determine which students are making adequate progress to reach the next benchmark goal (and which are not) by referring to the aimline in the results table. While in the Class Summary Progress Monitoring section, you can view an individual student’s Progressing Monitoring Report by clicking on that student's name.

Goal Setting

In addition to the Class Summary Progress Monitoring Report, you’ll want to check out the Goal Setting tab. The Goal Setting tab of the DIBELS® 8th Edition Progress Monitoring Reports page includes tools for goal setting based on students' benchmark scores. You can also set a customized goal for the BOY–MOY and MOY–EOY time periods for each student and subtest.
