New Classwork feature
You can now send AWE rubric scores and Conventions details to your students by checking “Share Rubric Scores” in Classwork. Students will see shared scores in their MyWork Teacher Feedback popup. To best use this feature, read our help article for a comprehensive explanation of AWE and review students’ AWE scores before sending, adjusting as needed to ensure all students receive a reliable assessment of their submitted writing.

💬 Advice and answers

How can I group my Amplify ELA students?
The Embedded Assessment Measure (EAM) report aggregates and assesses your students’ daily work over the course of a unit. It also provides a regular measurement of student performance in three key skill areas (Language, Reading, and Writing) and provides suggestions for Flex Day activities and grouping recommendations. You can also use this data to inform groupings and instructional decisions for later units.

How can my students submit Solos outside of class?
The Mobile Solos allow students to access Solos outside of class without a computer or printer. All Solo responses submitted on a mobile device will automatically sync with the digital curriculum, so students receive automatic scoring and can pick up where they left off on another device. (Teachers receive data on student performance with the automatic sync!) Students can complete their Mobile Solos on a supported smartphone by visiting apps.learning.amplify.com/mobile-solos/.

“Don’t skip the Quests! Especially in 7th grade, I love doing the Poe Quest and Perception Academy in [the] Brain Science [unit].”
