💬 Advice and answers
|
|
How can I tell if students are responding to intervention?
In mCLASS, you can see how students are responding to small-group instruction by viewing trends from their progress monitoring data. In the Class Summary Progress Monitoring report, you’ll see an Aimline in the results table that shows you whether students are making adequate progress toward their next benchmark goal. To take a closer look at the Aimline, click on the student’s name to view their progress monitoring graphs for each skill. Learn more in our collection of help articles.

How do I set up goals for individual students?
You can find the goal-setting tools on the Goal Setting tab of the Progress Monitoring page. This tab contains tools for goal setting based on students' benchmark results. You can also set a customized goal for the beginning- to middle-of-year and middle- to end-of-year time periods for each student and subtest. Check out our help articles for more information.

“ Chessa is our PK–2nd-grade literacy coach in Richland Parish. She is a true mCLASS hero as she has learned the platform in such a way [that supports] her teachers in meeting each of their students exactly where they are and propelling them higher than ever before. As a result of her hard work and dedication, every single child in every single classroom that she supports has grown. Not only that, the teachers love to see her coming because they know that she will do anything and everything she can do to help them succeed. ”
