You decide what’s money.

Here again, you get to decide what kinds of ideas are money! In the warm-up of Three Turtles, we ask students to decide what the axes measure and then to interpret a point in the plane.

Labeling an axis.

Consider using the snapshots tool to share with the class a response from a student who may not yet believe that their ideas are valuable. Even if that response isn’t yet complete or correct, you can share with students what you’re wondering about it—a move which celebrates the student and helps the entire class understand that interesting answers are money just as much as correct ones.

Enjoy some math!
