How can students build content knowledge beyond the curriculum?
Gathering additional texts and books about the CKLA domain topics is a great way to continue to build student content knowledge. Teachers can select books from the Trade Book List located in the Materials section on the CKLA platform for additional whole-group work and display the books for students to see to nurture independent reading.
