💬 Advice and answers

What can I tell my caregivers at the end of the year?
You’ll find Amplify ELA caregiver letters in the Materials section of each unit and on the Professional Learning Site in the "Parent and caregiver resources" section. As we approach the end of the year, we also recommend direct communication via phone calls or emails to send reports on student work and development!

How can you get students excited about poetry?

“ When my district first purchased this curriculum, I was new to the district. Returning back to the classroom after being in school administration for nearly 10 years was change enough, but to learn a new curriculum and teach ELA for the first time ever was quite the challenge. ... Most of my students are on a 2nd- to 4th-grade reading level and they have been pushed and have risen to the expectations. They have produced essays and the pride in their essays is such a great thing to see and hear! They can't believe themselves that they are writing so much! My students have been very interested in the units we have completed so far and I am able to take the lessons and make them work for us. ”
