Here at Amplify, we’re thankful for the amazing work you do each day to shape the minds and futures of so many students! We’ve created two thankfulness-themed downloadable worksheets for you to use with your students this month: a fill-in acrostic poem for younger students and a writing exercise for older students. Both are available in English and Spanish!

Don’t forget that today, Nov. 1, is the first day of Native American Heritage Month. Although we recognize the culture and heritage of Native Americans year round, we place a special emphasis on their role in American history in November. We hope you’re able to incorporate a few of their many contributions into your classrooms this month!

Answer validation for students

Did you know you have the option to reveal answer validation to students at the bottom of expanded Solos and assessments in Classwork? Learn more about how this optional answer validation works to implement this useful feature in your classroom.

Student feedback in Classwork

How have you been using Classwork to leave feedback on work students have completed in Amplify ELA? You can leave general comments on an entire activity, or inline comments which are keyed with numbers to a specific area in a student's response. You can also save review time by utilizing a bank of frequently used comments, or the bulk score/comment feature that allows you to provide feedback to students with similar writing scores all at once. Students can view all comments under My Work. Read more in our help article about Classwork.
